Unless the product is defective, we generally do not accept returns.

Available period

If you contact us within 7 days after receiving the product
* In any case, please note that we will not be able to respond to any problems after 8 days or more have passed since the product arrived or after use.

Correspondence condition

*If the delivered product is damaged, we will file a claim for compensation with the shipping company, so please contact the shipping company within 2 days. (We will contact you from the shipping company)

*Return shipping and refund fees will be borne by the store (cash on delivery) if the item is in an unused condition and is clearly defective other than in the condition described below, and will be borne by the customer (advance payment) otherwise.

*In the case of returns for reasons other than damage or obvious defects other than the conditions described below, the shipping fee for the first delivery will not be refunded.
In addition, if the shipping fee is free or discounted depending on the purchase amount at the time of the first delivery, the actual shipping fee will be charged.
In addition, the customer will be responsible for the various fees related to the refund at that time.

*In the unlikely event that there is a trace of use (washing is also considered used) on the returned product, we will settle the price at the time of the initial order and return it to the customer by cash on delivery. Also, please note that future orders will be refused.

* Custom-made items such as personalized items cannot be returned unless they are damaged during delivery.

* All final decisions regarding the reason for return, product condition, shipping and handling charges will be made by our shop.

[In the following cases, the product cannot be returned as a defective product]

1) The image is different, the size is different from what I thought, etc.
(As a characteristic of pottery, the size of the same item may vary slightly due to shrinkage during firing and slimming of the mold.)
2) Color development, baking is different, etc.
(As a characteristic of pottery, it is unavoidable that there will be differences in the coloring of each piece. Also, if the writer changes or the artist's intentions, the touch and shape of the picture may change.)

*Please note that due to the above reasons, we are unable to respond to requests for items that are baked in the same way as previously purchased items.

3) Regarding brown or black spots (iron powder), penetration, pinholes, unevenness in glaze and pigments, differences in color appearance for each sheet, distortion in shape, fine chips on the base, fine scratches, etc. All products are inspected before shipment at the pottery of the production area and at our shop, but we deliver products that are judged to be first-class products and can be shipped in consideration of the characteristics of the manufacturing method of pottery. It cannot be returned as a non-defective item.

4) Cracks and newness that do not interfere with normal use, which are shipped as first-class products by artists and kilns considering the taste of the work and the characteristics of the manufacturing method for earthenware etc.
(If there is something that we noticed, we will check it with the product photos etc.)
* Earthenware is usually not treated to stop water, so on rare occasions water may leak from the gaps in the soil. In that case, it is often the case that the teacups and tableware will stop after use, but it seems to be even better if you boil them in rice water.
If the leak still does not go away, we can do water stop processing at our shop, so please contact us.

5) Products that are sold in advance with the notation that they are not regular products as "goods with a reason" or "second grade products".

6) Products that have been processed or damaged by the customer.

*If you use an overseas forwarding service, etc., the scope of compensation that we can provide in the unlikely event of damage is up to the normal delivery from our store to a domestic forwarding service company shipped by a domestic transportation company. (It will be claimed within the compensation range of each transportation company)
Please note that if there is no notification of damage to our company at the time of arrival at the forwarding company, you will be required to claim compensation from the forwarding company, etc. for the damage.
